The way that I'm and had been living now

Someday I'll turn into sand
Blow and melt in the sea
New life will give a sprout
In the place where I stood alone
And will add a touch of flower

一人取り残され
親しき者の姿もなく
色も形もない平坦な道だけが眼前に広がっていた
それは紛れもなく自らが歩んできた道そのものだった

この道を追いかけたらあなたの背中を遠くに捕らえることができるのだろうか
この道はいつか終わりを迎えることができるのだろうか

何度も迷い
何度もつまづき
何度も裏切ることで疲れ果ててしまったんだ

今にも崩れそうな断崖絶壁の先っぽに立ち
ただ楽にならんが為だけに
逃げ出し投げ出し負け犬のまま
すべてを捨てて飛び降りてしまえばいい

けれど
心はより一層ざわめいて
己の中に
いつまでも違和感だけが残り
すくんだ足は前進も後退も拒絶した

この道の行く末を知る空よ
あなたのような広く大きな心を分けて与えて下さい
見えない明日の私の姿を知る太陽よ
あなたのような燃え滾る情熱の炎を分け与えて下さい

そして見守っていてください
この先にどんな未来が待ち受けていようと
仮にすべてが変わり果ててしまったとしても
私がこうして今存在していたということを
在りのままの姿を
未来の私に伝えてあげて下さい

いずれ私は風化して砂となり
風に運ばれ
海に溶け
私の立っていた場所にはとても小さな新しい命が芽生え
味気ないこの道に
僅かながら色を添えることでしょう・・・
